Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for playing Violet Plunkett, in CBS' sitcom Mom. Calvano, a Californian native, was originally interested in gymnastics competitions. She later decided to pursue a career in acting. She made her screen debut in the year 2010 with a segment of CBS program 'NCIS'. The following year, her first big-screen appearance made it into the biographical crime production J Edgar. She became one of the best young actors to be seen in the following decades. In 2011 she won a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Actress in a Television Series and in the role of Guest Actress 11-15. In 2013, her role as a special guest in Disney XD's comedy "Kickin It' was nominated once more for an award called a Young Artist Award. Calvano was one of the principal cast members of the show's first three seasons and was a frequent guest on Season 4. In 2015, her performance in 'Mom" was recognized with the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
