Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who appears on CNN and HLN's numerous platforms. Her TV show, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK was launched on March 30 2012. She also serves as on camera meteorologist, and the co-executive director. Bonnie's book EXTREME WINTER was released from Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. As a Boston-based special assignment reporter, she reported each week for three hours covering entertainment, lifestyle as well as news. Her prior position was the weekend meteorologist at WFOR-TV, Miami. She's had a number of jobs in meteorology and reporting, such as: News 12 Long Island which is a 24 hour cable news television network, as well as WXII-TV which is the NBC affiliate located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Also, she worked for an affiliate of the CBS channel within New York City as a frequent meteorologist filling in on The Saturday Early Show.
