Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

At the start of high school, Sasha became transgender.. Sasha had to face some tough times however, she knew that her family would support him and that music could aid. Jim and Sasha - both songwriters - were just recently forming an official music duo. Since then they've appeared in many local venues such as open mics. The Voice coaches didn't discuss Sasha's history, however Jim and he shared their story before they performed. The two talked about the music they enjoy and how Sasha started playing guitar at the age of six years old. The fact that his father was a teacher helped him to master the art. Sasha struggled as a young child with his gender identity. In an Instagram posting, she spoke about his struggle. Then, Jim overcame with emotion as he explained his reasons for not being a part of those trying circumstances. Sasha Allen is a contestant on The Voice. She was born a girl. Sasha Allen turns 19 in 2021. When Sasha was a freshman in the high school system, he announced as transgender and started transitioning to male. Sasha said on Instagram, "I am the third transgender person to be featured on the show and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to represent transgender individuals in such an extensive way."
